Lawmakers join KOHO to explain Republican position on legislative public records
Reps. Mike Steele, R-Chelan, and Cary Condotta, R-Wenatchee, tell KOHO's Dan Longager why they voted for Senate Bill 6617, which the Democrats introduced to address the issue of legislative public records, and talk about the Republican public records bill that didn't receive a hearing and why the House Republican Caucus requested Gov. Jay Inslee's veto of SB 6617. The 12th District lawmakers also discuss the demise of the carbon tax and Republican opposition to a Democratic bill that would force in-home care workers to pay union dues.
