“The governor plans to call us back to Olympia on Nov. 28 for a special session to address the budget shortfall. Difficult decisions need to be made and I want to get input from the people in the twelfth district,” said Condotta, R-East Wenatchee. “Town hall meetings are a great opportunity to communicate directly with the constituents about the budget and other issues impacting the state.

“I hope to keep the focus on our state’s fiscal situation and the priorities of our government. I want to clarify our budget’s situation and provide an understanding of how our budget has ended up in this precarious state.

“Not only are we facing a tough task in the special session, but I expect some of the work to carry over into the 2012 regular session. It will help me in the decision-making process if I have a stronger understanding of the priorities of my constituency.”

All town halls are open to the public and do not require an RSVP.
